Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Filler (JUVÉDERM®)

The Dermal Filler Family (JUVÉDERM®) is an injection treatment based on hyaluronic acid (AH) that aims to smooth, enhance, soften and fill certain areas of the face.

Over time, skin cells lose their ability to produce a natural sugar called hyaluronic acid (HA). As HA provides nutrients to the skin and helps maintain its hydration, this change leads to the formation of wrinkles as well as a loss of definition and balance of the face and a modification of its natural oval.

The most common treatments are:

  • Smoothing wrinkles around eyes
Restoring the volume of the cheeks
    Smoothing of smile wrinkles
    Lip filling and enhancement
    Chin remodeling and jaw definition

Injection of hyaluronic acid for the hands

The essential components of the dermis: hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin fibers are reduced over time. Injections of hyaluronic acid restore the density of the skin and the curves of the back of the hands for a fuller appearance.

The goal is to find firmer hands, and to fill the unsightly hollows of the back of the hands and to conceal the protruding veins and the tendons. In addition, the treatment of the hands is fast, painless and with immediate and optimal results in 1 to 2 weeks post-injection.

A single session of cross-linked hyaluronic acid performed on the back of the hands aims to fill the hollows and mask the veins and tendons.

How does an injection session take place?
Hyaluronic acid will be injected under the skin of each hand with a plastic needle (cannula) followed by massage to evenly distribute the filler. No anesthesia is necessary, and you can return to your activities as soon as you leave the clinic.

We advise you to protect your hands from the sun with a sunscreen the days following the treatment, to avoid the increase or appearance of edema or brown spots.

You will find smooth skin and younger looking hands. The effect of hyaluronic acid on the hands lasts approximately 18 months.
